Diverse by God Grace

Normal European nation with its own country is a large group of people of the
same genetic and historical origin living together in place where they can
safely procreate their genes and culture. Normal nations hate diversity and
anything different. That was true for centuries, actually, for millennia. Even
the world champion of diversity – United States – had to go through a series of
social upheavals to start value it officially.
- It’s less than fifty years since Afro-Americans had to go to separate
schools and restrict themselves to a special section in public transport.
- It’s about sixty years since American citizens of Japanese origin were
kept in concentration camps.
- It’s about a century since biological warfare was used to exterminate
the last Native American tribes.
That’s the way usual nations work.
For Russians, diversity was never a choice, it was a survival necessity. In
Russia, one element of survival is to always be in a search for something new,
different, something that can help to survive. It may be a different technical
or cultural idea, a different fruit or vegetable, a different word for this idea
or fruit, or a different gene for your children. Here is a brief fact-sheet:
- Most of the Russian expansion (including annexation of Siberia) was
accompanied by assimilation of local people, not extermination of them.
Example: white Caucasian Indians (Native American) of Alaska – the case
where original Russian discoverers were assimilated.
- Many (Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia, et al.) joined Russian Empire
peacefully and voluntary in exchange for friendship and protection from
external aggressors (Poles, Austria, Turks).
- Those rare ones who were joined through a war or annexation (e.g. Middle
Asia) kept their unique status even through the Soviet period.
- For the whole history of Russian Empire, anybody who adopted Orthodox
Christianity was considered a full-fledged Russian no matter what his
national origin was.
- The architect of Communistic Revolution Vladimir Lenin (Ulyanov) has the
origin in a small nationality of Komi on one side (and Jewish on another,
according to some sources), and still his father had status equal to an army
general.
- Hannibal Abraham Petrovich was a black-skinned Ethiopian prince sent by
Turks as a slave and present to serve at the court of Peter the Great. He
was granted Russian nobility, married a Russian woman and eventually become
a navy engineer and a general. His grandson Alexander Pushkin become the
greatest Russian poet.
- Soviet Union was built on the idea of internationalism. For 70 years
people of Soviet Union were taught that judging people by their nationality
is not simply sinful… it’s stupid!
- Not that they needed it in the first place. Russian nationalists were
consistently failing to gain popularity in XIX century, they are not any
better today.
- Russian language expands its vocabulary by adopting alien words from
other languages. Modern Russian words has an origin in English, German,
French, Spanish, Italian, Chinese, Mongol, Turkish, Jewish, Latin, Greek,
and even Ancient Assyrian, Sumer and Egyptian languages.
Russia today is probably the most genetically diverse country in the world
after the United States. Russians span two major human races – europeoid (white)
and mongoloid (yellow). Through the history they assimilated the genes from
innumerable nationalities – Normans, Ugric, Turks, Mongols, Semites, Gauls,
Germans, Celts, not to mentions Slav, Scythes and Sarmats, who probably were
their direct ancestors. Then Father Frost filtered the junk leaving what we call
now Russians.
Diversity is not an option in Russia.
